I am going to say this a nicely as possible. As women we have to do better in picking mates for ourselves and potential fathers for our children. If you are good enough to have a mans child, you should be good enough to be his wife. Not all marriages work, yes well all know that but at least it go to that point. TOO many women and young girls are getting pregnant and becoming single mothers at alarming rates. If a man wants to marry you it says a lot about that man, because sometimes that is hard for a man to even do. Any woman can get pregnant and have a child it’s not that hard. Why on earth would you want to have a baby by a man who is just your boyfriend? actually don’t answer that, because the answer is going to be “I been with my man for 10 years and we are happy, I don’t need to be married” OKAY GREAT… Nobody said that a woman who is married is better than a woman who isn’t…but Marriage is so wonderful and it’s something so special…A lot of women are bringing kids in this world for all the wrong reasons. I have never meet a woman in my 29 years on this Earth that has told me she doesn’t want to be married. Kids are wonderful, but you don’t have to have them by the first man you meet. You can say the divorce rate is high, but would you like me to tell you the baby mama rate? Teenagers are having kids like it’s no tomorrow. Too many women are single mothers. Nobody is taking the time to know their mate, before having kids. Bring your child into a positive environment married or not. What people have to stop doing is knocking marriage, being married is not a bad thing. Maybe I am crazy or just very old school but I hate when woman settle for being just a baby mama. I feel I am worth a ring. This single mother business is getting out of control…I don’t want to knock any of you bloggers , but I just don’t like to see any woman raising her child alone. Any woman can get pregnant, but when a man ask you to marry him, you mean more to him than just having his baby. BOWWOW broke up with his daughters mother before the child was even born that is CRAZY!!!!
**SIDENOTE** If you have to get on any type of government assistance in order to take car of your child, THAT MEANS YOU DID NOT PLAN YOUR LIFE ACCORDINGLY AND YOU WERE NOT READY TO BECOME A PARENT!!! PERIOD….MARRIAGE BEFORE BABIES…CONDOMS OVER ABORTION!!! THAT IS ALL…THUMBS ME DOWN ALL DAY….

—i got this from reading my religion textbook. its a hindu saying and i swear it just touched my life. its so crazy we sit here and think we never have enough time but the time that we do have are we using our time wisely? if i died tomorrow would i have been happy with my life? i would be but to a certain extent. i feel like i can do more for my community instead of always “trying to get ahead”. it really hurts my heart and brings tears to my eyes when i hear what some people have to go through. but am i doing my part? how can i help these people? how can i make this world a better place with the resources that i do have available. i feel like God gave everyone a special talent and by being on this earth we should give back without want any rewards back in return. just out of the goodness of our hearts. idk why this one little quote had my mind racing like this but it did. i want to help people….not because it will look good on my resume or can get me ahead but because i really want to. i get pleasure out of seeing people happy and safe. so how i can i help those who are in need? what can i do that will make someone smile, or give someone hope. i’m blabbering on but i just wanted to write these thoughts down somewhere.
